Deanna Troi holds the rank of Commander. She was born on Betazed in 2336, the daughter of human Starfleet officer Ian Andrew Troi and native Betazoid Lwaxana Troi. Her father died when she was 7 and she was raised by her mother. She graduated from Starfleet academy in 2359. She studied psychology on Betazed where she met and became involved with Will Riker. He was more interested in his career and things didn't work out. They met again when each was assigned to the Enterprise-D. Her favorite food is Chocolate. Deanna Troi is played by Marina Sirtis.
