Hikaru Sulu was born in San Francisco, Earth in 2237. He graduated from Starfleet academy in 2259 and was assigned to the Enterprise in 2265 as a physicist and was transferred to the helm the next year. Sulu likes to fence and is married with one daughter. Hikaru Sulu is played by George Takei.
