Neelix was born on Rinax, a moon of Talax, located in the Delta Quadrant. Neelix joined Voyager along with his girlfriend Kes in 2371, just after they arrived in the Delta Quadrant. Kes has since evolved to pure energy and left the ship. Neelix is the self proclaimed morale officer and cook. Neelix is played by Ethan Phillips.
