Miles O'Brien was born in 2328 in Killarney, Ireland, Earth. He enlisted in Starfleet in 2345 but enlisted as a non-commisioned officer in 2346. He was assigned to the U.S.S.Rutledge, and the U.S.S. Enterprise before being assigned to Deep Space Nine in 2369 as Chief of Operations. He is married to Keiko and they have 2 children, Molly and Yoshi. His best friend is Julian Bashir. Miles O'Brian is played by Colm Meaney.
