Kathryn Janeway was born in Indiana, Earth. Before being assigned to Voyager in 2371 she was Science Officer aboard U.S.S. Al-Batani. Kathryn left behind her fiance Mark and her golden retriever. She likes to play holodeck novels and her favorite drink is coffee. Captain Janeway is played by Kate Mulgrew.
