Deep Space 9, located near the planet Bajor was formally called Terok Nor when owned by the Cardassians during their occupation of Bajor. Starfleet took over and renamed it Deep Space 9. There is a wormhole nearby leading to the Gamma Quadrant, where the Bajorians claim the prophets live. Deep Space 9 ran from 1993-1999.
