Jadzia Dax was born on Trill in 2341. She is a joined species (symbiont/host). The symbiont Dax was a friend of Ben Sisko when he was know as Curzon Dax. Jadzia is the 8th host for Dax. She graduated from Starfleet academy in 2363 and joined DS9 as Science Officer. She was married to Worf but was killed in 2374 by Gul Dukat, the Cardassian who used to run DS9 when it was known as Terok Nor. Her favorite drink is iced raktajino. Jadzia Dax is played by Terry Farrell.
